From the looks, and as the name suggests, its very obvious to tell that this quadrant is the most similar to human romance.
Matespritship is also described as the Flushed quadrant, which can be represented by the ♥ symbol. This quadrant is the easiest to understand.

✧ Moirallegiance ✧
A similar concept as best friends, but a moirallegiance is more than that. It is designed to pacify the other partner (in troll society), due to trolls are a violent race.
Moirallegiance is described as the pale quadrant and uses the ♦ symbol to represent it. As humans understand, this is a platonic role, HOWEVER, trolls views is as a TYPE of ROMANCE.
They are the protector of their moirail's heart, and they keep each other grounded. The two partners in a strong pale ship will help and balance and complement each other's emotional profiles.
An easy way to describe this emotion is a platonic soulmate. You feel as if like theyre your sibling or cousin, and you just want to protect each other and be their friend for life.
For more information about the pale quadrant, an example character who is in a canon and unproblematic relationship is Equius and Nepeta also known by their ship name, Meowrails.

✧ Kismesissitude ✧
One of the difficult quadrants to understand, is given the term KISMESISSITUDE.
It is also known as the pitch quadrant, and is represented by the ♠ symbol. The whole point of this term is for both parties to HATE each other. Not any kind of hatred, but the type of hate that makes you feel bad whenever theyre hurt.
In an alternate term, it is a mixture of hatred and sexual attraction, think of a villain falling in love with another villain for an example.
It IS a rivalry between two trolls, but hurting or killing your kismesis would obviously end the relationship, since that is highly discouraged and it is not a form of romance (for trolls).
From what we know, it seems like kismesissitude is like a couple that hate each other, but stay together willingly.

✧ Auspisticism ✧
A quadrant where there are 3 participants. One is in charge of keeping the two in a kismesis safe, example, from killing each other.
Auspisticism is also described as the Ashen quadrant and is represented by the ♣ symbol.
Another way to describe this relationship is involving a third wheel, which benefits the other partner who is in a kismesis, preventing from killing nor harming one another.
Even though it is still considered a relationship in troll society, only the person who is in charge of auspisticise the two parties can feel it.
If the mediator does a poor job or is uninterested in keeping the peace, the two might delve into more torrid emotions. A similar concept to moirallegiance as well, since both are considered as platonic.
